Event Description

Join us for our Community Engagement x Monthly Luncheon Speaker Series featuring Dr. Ruth Shapiro, Founder and Chief Executive of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society.

As enormous wealth continues to be created in Asia, the region’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals are turning their hand to philanthropy. But their path continues to manifest quite differently from the United States and Western Europe. Drawing upon exclusive interviews with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, case studies of successful social initiatives and in-depth policy and applied research, Dr Shapiro will examine why and how Asia’s traditional and newer philanthropists are giving.

HCHK directors Philo Alto and Rita Pang will be co-hosting this event.
