Event Description

Please join us over a light lunch to learn more about the importance and the need for global citizenship education with Professor Fernando Reimers. 

Members/guests will also learn about HCHK's Harvard Book Prize and Scholarship. Past scholarship winners will share their Harvard summer school experiences. 

  

Speaker Bios

Fernando M. Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of the Practice of International Education and Director of the Global Education Innovation Initiative and of the International Education Policy Masters Program at Graduate School of Education at Harvard University.

Remiers focuses his research and teaching on innovative global education policies and programs that help students develop competencies necessary for civic participation and work in the twenty first century. He works also in the area of global citizenship education and in how to align education policies with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
